Can We All Agree That August Has Been a Bit Much?
I don't really have a farm story for you this week.
I've found myself listening to the people in my life instead of the plants.
It's actually been a bit of a theme this summer, but until now I've managed to balance the two.
People.
Plants.
People.
Repeat.
Breathe.
Sigh.
Breathe again.
There has been a lot going on with my immediate family and some of my closest friends.
Beginnings.
Endings.
Hope.
Grief.
Fear.
Surrender.
All the messy, beautiful parts of being human.
By the end of August, I think we're all ready for a collective deep breath.
Worth Noticing
Can we all agree that August has been a bit much? I know I just said that. But I feel like it needs to be said again.
The past few weeks have brought two eclipses, shifting planets, unexpected turns, and enough change to leave many of us wondering what the hell just happened.
The eclipses are finally behind us.
The questions they raised, however, are not.
Insert collective sigh here...
This week begins to feel different.
Not because life suddenly becomes easy again, but because the sky starts asking us to slow down long enough to figure out where we've landed.
One of the week's most supportive transits arrives on August 31 as Jupiter forms a harmonious trine with Saturn. Jupiter reminds us to keep believing in what's possible, while Saturn helps us build something solid beneath those hopes.
Mercury is now comfortably settled in Virgo, making it easier to think clearly, solve problems, organize our thoughts, and focus on what's actually in front of us.
Instead of reacting to the next surprise, this week's astrology encourages us to pause, look around, and decide what comes next.
Current Astrological Landscape
August asked a lot of us.
Whether it was your own life or the lives of people you love, it felt like every week brought another unexpected turn.
Some things ended.
Some things began.
Some things simply changed.
This week's sky isn't asking us to rush into September.
It's asking us to get our bearings.
Virgo has a wonderful way of bringing us back to what's right in front of us.
Answer the email.
Make the appointment.
Pull the weeds.
Take the walk.
Call your friend.
Life doesn't usually come back together all at once.
More often, it comes back together one ordinary thing at a time.
Jupiter and Saturn remind us that hope and practicality make a pretty good team.
One encourages us to keep looking ahead.
The other reminds us that whatever we're building still needs a solid foundation.
Expanded Transit
There are seasons when life unfolds pretty much the way we expected.
And then there are seasons like August.
The kind where one phone call leads to another.
Plans change.
People need us.
Things we never imagined suddenly become part of daily life.
When we're in the middle of those seasons, it's easy to feel like we're just trying to keep up.
Virgo reminds us that we don't have to solve everything today.
We don't have to understand every twist and turn before we take the next step.
Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is stop long enough to notice what's changed.
Maybe your priorities are different.
Maybe your plans are different.
Maybe you are.
September is just around the corner.
It feels less like a fresh start...
And more like a chance to find our footing again.
