Grown in Japan’s Shizuoka Prefecture, this organic Wakocha is made from a cultivar traditionally used for green tea. Processing the leaves as black tea brings out a full body, natural sweetness and fruity aroma, with floral notes that linger after each sip. Rich and satisfying, with low astringency and a smooth finish.

Ingredients

Organic black tea leaf (Camellia sinensis).

How To Steep

Use 2.5 g per cup of freshly boiled water at 100°C. Steep for 2–5 minutes, then strain.

Choose a shorter steep for a lighter cup or a longer steep for a stronger brew.

Full body and natural sweetness, with a clean, fruity aroma and lingering floral notes. Produces a strong infusion with low astringency and a smooth finish.
